4 minute run, 1 min walk for 15 minutes. Then did half of the speed workout... First speed in 2 and a half months! Huge step in the right direction. The speed was 200, 400, 200. Pretty simple but it felt great. The first 200 was a 29 then the 400 was a 61, then the 200 was another 29. Solid workout. I obviously don't know what mile pace feels like but a 61 surprisingly didn't feel that hard. My hamstrings definitely weren't ready for it though because they got super tight super fast. Always good to have a little peace of mind that my hard work is actually paying off.

After the workout I did another 2 sets of 4 run/1 walk. Then I did 40 minutes on the stationary bikes and finished the rest of the speed that way. Now that I'm running more the bike room is looking less and less like a torture chamber. So that's refreshing :)
